Lifetime Companionships

A Lifetime Companionship is just that. One payment, and you will be connected with the Well for life. This is a tremendous way to show and enjoy commitment to the Chalice Well.

When Wellesley Tudor Pole founded the Chalice Well Trust in 1959, he intended to welcome all supporters of goodwill. He called this group Companions of Chalice Well, and stressed the importance of them being supporters, not members. In exchange for their support, they would receive benefits such as free entry to the garden and being able to stay at Little St Michael’s with the opportunity to access the garden out of hours, retreat into the special energies of the house and access the well stocked library.

You can enjoy many benefits as a Lifetime Companion

  • A guaranteed Lifetime Connection with the well and gardens
  • Enjoy free entry to the gardens, 365 days a year during public opening times
  • Know that your fee preserves the Chalice Well as a living sanctuary for all
  • Children included: Up to 2 per adult Companion
  • Book accommodation, as an individual or as a group, in our retreat house Little St Michaels allowing 24 hour access to the Gardens and Well
  • Book our beautiful Meeting Room for events which align to our purpose

  • Receive a 5-10% discount in Chalice Well Shop on most items, whether shopping in person or online

  • Participate in the Companions meditation – each Thursday at 5.30pm held in the Upper Room in the Retreat House, or sometimes in the Gardens
  • Book the Upper Room in Little St Michaels for silent meditation in this special space.  This is available every day between 3-4pm (Nov- March) or 1-2pm/4-5pm (Apr to Oct) for no charge.
