Winter Solstice Sunday 21 December 2025
We gather in this sacred land at the still point before the daylight hours slowly begin to lengthen and we welcome the returning light. We invite you to join us for the midday meditation at the Wellhead, followed at 12:30pm by the Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony on the lower lawn. Together we light the solstice fire to symbolise the returning light and welcome in new blessings and joy.

Price: FREE ENTRY – 10:00am – 11:30am. Normal entrance fees apply after 11:30am

Refreshments: Available from 10:00am (cash or card). Vegan and Gluten Free options available.

Pets: The Chalice Well is an ecologically sensitive area with open waterways. For this reason we are only able to welcome highly trained assistance dogs that accompany their partner. No other type of dogs or pets can be allowed in the garden.
