Join us from home for our Day of Silence

10/04/2020 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Chalice Well Day of Silence

We warmly invite you to join with us in a time of silence this coming Friday – from your own home.  As many of you know, we usually hold the silence between 11am and 3pm in the meeting room at Chalice Well, welcoming people to join us for however long they wish.

Within the silence we focus on connecting with the Divine Eternal Flame that exists within us all. The intention is always to hold the world in love, light and healing, and to seek peace in our hearts and for all on Earth.

In the current global context, it feels very important to continue to ‘meet’ together in this endeavour, albeit apart, in silence, in our own homes – and to hold the light together.

So please do join us at some point between 11am and 3pm BST on Friday 10th April.

‘Somewhere within the soul there is silence.
Attain unto it. It is a pearl of great price.’

  1. We are a group of 8 women.
The 10th of April we will be visiting the Challice. It’s silence day!
Can we buy the entrance now? Is it an open activity? Can we visit the Challice that day?

    1. Hi Laura, thanks for your comment. The silent meditation takes place in our Meeting Room which is on your left just before the gatehouse where you purchase garden entry tickets. There is no charge for joining the meditation. The gardens are open as usually and you can buy tickets when you arrive. We look forward to seeing you.

    2. Hi, a quick update to our Day of Silence event on 10 April which you enquired about. It is with regret Chalice Well Trust has decided to cancel the Day of Silence which was to be held in our Meeting Room. With the current situation regarding the coronavirus we feel it sensible. The gardens will be open as usual, 10 am to 6 pm (last entry 5:30 pm).

We will also be cancelling Foot Washing on 9 April.

We apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience caused.
