Our annual programme of events honours the seasons in nature which fall on days celebrated since ancient times.

They are grounded in the common principles of community, stillness, blessing, communion, reflection, gratitude and celebration.

That people gather together in a beautiful garden allows a shared acknowledgement of the sacred and the divine that transcends borders and differences.

Day of Silence – Good Friday

April 18 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Everyone is welcome to enter the deeply nourishing silence for a few minutes of meditation or a few hours. 
 
Joseph of Arimathea planted his walking stick in Glastonbury after the crucifixion. His walking staff took root and grew into the Holy Thorn tree that is such an important part of the sacred history of Avalon. Our beautiful Holy Thorns in the garden often flower and have berries at Easter.

Pets: The Chalice Well is an ecologically sensitive area with open waterways. For this reason we are only able to welcome highly trained assistance dogs that accompany their partner. No other type of dogs or pets can be allowed in the garden.
