We are delighted to welcome back Carolyn Hillyer and Nigel Shaw. Their beautiful voices and instruments will fill the marquee on the lower lawn, deeply honouring the earth, in this concert – Wild Forgotten Way. Carolyn and Nigel have been playing concerts at Chalice Well for over 20 years. For this return to the garden they will be performing from their recent albums The Creel & The Crock & The Cauldron, This Remembered Earth and Lichenheart.
Their Wild Forgotten Way concert honours this precious, extraordinary, beautiful Earth. How might we spin songs that cause our souls to weep from the wonder and pain of this remembered Earth? This ancient, magical surprising Earth. How might we share music that causes our dancing feet to leap as we travel the wild forgotten ways of this remembered Earth?
