Accommodation

Chalice Well Trust has two retreat houses offering our Companions a quiet place to unwind in a homely, warm and welcoming retreat space.  The houses are located within the grounds of Chalice Well and have 24 hour access to the gardens.  We aim to offer a place for quiet time, reflection and a rest away from everyday life.

We have a selection of Single, Twin and Double bedded rooms along with 1 triple room – all offered with self-catering facilities and shared bathrooms.

Self-catering accommodation:

  • Smoke, meat, fish and shoe free
  • Mobile phone, laptop, TV and radio free
  • Fully equipped kitchen
  • Shared dining room and lounge
  • Shared bathrooms
  • Linen is provided

Both retreat houses are provided by the Trust for companions of Chalice Well to stay on retreats of a contemplative, meditative or prayerful nature.  We aim to offer you a chance for quiet time, reflection, rest from your everyday life and an opportunity to further spiritual journeys.

Our aim is to provide you with a clear, clean space; a space to simply be and to experience a deeper peace.  Peace away from mobile phones and electronic equipment, from Wi-Fi signals and social media: simple peace.

We provide teas, coffee and milk sachets.  You bring your own vegetarian food – or wander into Glastonbury to enjoy the range of independent restaurants and cafes.

Little St Michaels is a 16th century retreat house with six bedrooms, a comfortable sitting room with a small library, fully equipped kitchen and dining room and is available for guests over the age of 18.

Chalice Well Lodge is a 19th century two bedded house with a contemporary style with a sofa bed to extend the accommodation to 6 people.
