We would like to offer this post ~
in gratitude to all who are mothers; and for all acts of caring, nurturing and mothering;
in joy for all the ways you’ve found to connect to and support those you call family;
and in love for all those who have lost someone you consider a mother or child, especially those gone far too soon.
“… We’re all made from the same as the earth,From Order & Chaos, a song by Lady Maisery.
And someday we’ll roam it together.
Particles gliding, dancing, colliding,
We’ll wander, entangled, forever …“
We have been fortunate to have a wonderful display of hellebores in the garden this year and here share their blooms, some lit with sunbeams, with you in celebration and in memory.
“Love all Creation… Love every leaf, and every ray of light. Love the plants. Love the animals. Love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the Divine Mystery in all things. Once you perceive it, you will comprehend it better every day. And you will come, at last, to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.“From The Brother’s Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky (as quoted in The Joy of Gardening by Eileen Campbell (2009 Hodder & Stoughton)
With love & blessings to you from the Well.
