“May we be guided by truth, May we have beauty revealed to us, May it result in the good” – Keith Critchlow

This series of monthly workshops hosted by Tom, explore geometry within nature and the cosmos at Advanced level and will begin on Thursday February 13th.

Students from previous ‘Advanced Sacred Geometry’ courses are welcome to join as Tom will be teaching 5 new patterns.

For those joining from Beginners Sacred Geometry Course, the format of the classes will be similar, with Tom introducing a new pattern, followed by discussion before he gently guides us all step by step through the pattern’s formation.

“I have loved this course. It has expanded my thinking and changed the way I look at things. There is something incredibly calming and meditative about creating beautifully ordered and intricate patterns and then recognising them in nature and the world around us. Although I believed I was never very good at this sort of thing, Tom has gently encouraged and inspired me” – course participant

These are more complex patterns than at beginner’s level because they have more stages (and sometimes require two plus sheets of tracing paper over the original grid).  His approach will still be that the drawing (and hence embodiment) of these patterns are a form of meditation and those who enjoy quiet and reflective practice may find that drawing harmonious patterns that reflect the beauty of the natural order of the Cosmos is both satisfying and relaxing.

There are 11 places available on a first come first served basis.

The approach of these workshops is best described in Tom’s own words:

‘Geometry is the governing principle of our earthly world as well as the wider cosmos. For this reason it has been recognised as significant within many different religious traditions. Through a practice of geometry and an awareness of it’s symbolic dimension, the Geometer aspires to become a bridge of ‘knowing’ between the inner world of Archetypes and the outer world of their manifestations. Thus the geometer is the midwife who brings forth the cosmos in emulation of God ‘the Divine Geometer’ who brings forth the Universe in each new moment.’

The fee for the full five workshop course is £100.00 and includes materials. Workshop run on Thursdays once a month, 6:30-9:00 pm. The dates of the workshops are:

  • 13/02/2020
  • 19/03/2020
  • 02/04/2020
  • 07/05/2020
  • 03/06/2020
